I’ve had this quad tuner about 3 days from TBS’s official store. And I can say, it just works – and it works well with my window 7 media center. – It’s really what TBS can do this. With the PCI express slot available, it is very easy to setup the card on pc. Running Win7 media center on an I7 homebuilt HTPC, the card doesn’t seem particularly problematic with incoming signals. Before this, I have downloaded the driver for windows from attaching CD. As TBS refers, this quad card is also compatible with the Linux system. But I haven’t tried. I was deeply impressed by the scan speed of the TBS 69841, which only took three and a half minutes to scan the satellite I want. Every search can be restricted to free-to-air channels only, which is particularly helpful as the PC card does not come with a CI slot for pay TV reception. The most important is we’ve had all 4 channels when the busy several times !We now watch basically all the satellite TV on PC, and between recording shows, – Support has been good from TBS and all it all, while pricey, this card is WELL WORTH IT, if you want HD in your PC- Long awaited, and an excellent product!!
